Great story, underwhelming performance

Would recommend to anyone. The narration makes the protagonist seem whiny where I had envisioned him originally as a young teenage boy who was more mature for his age because of his past, this can often ruin the imagery of his dialogue where i felt originally he was more sarcastic and dismissive in comparison to the performance's constant over dramatic brattiness.
Still good though, would recommend reading for yourself for a more immersive experience, the voice performance was still very well done.

amazing

The book was amazing and once I got past the first 8 chapters I couldn't take my headphones off. The only thing that I can criticise is the sound effects which are wierd and creepy but it brings the story together. Listen to it if you get a chance.

Great book, recording could be better

Great book! I read it when I was a kid and loved it , then upon revisiting it now I'm in my 20s I still love it. Good performance by Paul Panting, the recording however is a bit poor quality, not as clear as some other audiobooks I've liststened to, and there's audible feedback in the background. Worth a listen though!

Raven’s Gate

Great story, shame about the sounds for effect, it didn’t make the story less great in fact it was very stupid.
