Mechanically read, clinical but sound advice

I guess In previous title as I’ve been used a little bit more personality with the reader even on serious psychological content. I found the narration incredibly dry and for me it made it much harder to connect as a reader. However I was determined to soak up the content as my teenager is very important to me there was some sound advice and it was good to hear perspective outside of conversation with other parents of teenagers
