common sense

Very obvious basic parenting 101....thought there may have been more that was specific to raising boys verses children...regardless of gender

A Grand Generalization

No specific content or references. Book admits to being broadly generalized. Can pass on the message of the book in one sentence: Be there for him and spend time with him. Really nothing irrelevant to raising girls.

thia audio version doesn't encapsulate the actual book well, which is a real shame indeed

Sound Advice

This book provided clear, sound advice but was fairly basic. Many chapters could have provided examples rather than referring the reader to do their own internet research.

Very disappointing

This book was lame !. Uninsightful , old fashioned and dead boring. I battled through it , hoping to get 'something' of value ...but it never came.

This is a great book if your looking for an instructional guide on being a helicopter parent, or a guilt trip for things you may have done in the past.

Not the Steve Biddulph book of the same title

This is a misleading book and Audible should remove it from their catalogue. Not only is it NOT the Steve Biddulph book, it means I’ve spent an Audible credit in a 38 minute book. That’s a rip off. Do not buy this book unless you’re in search of the kind of platitudes you can find for free on Pinterest.

Not worth it

Not worth it. A total waste of time and money. Even utterly hopeless parents know how to do everything in this book. The whole content of this book is just someone's opinion with nothing out of the ordinary and no science or studies to back anything up.
