About this listen

The history of warfare has always attracted the author's attention, not because of the finite details, but really the ‘why’? It seems that we are all agreed war is a horror to avoid at all costs. Then why do us humans do it to ourselves?

This play was first written as a book: inspired by real events and pursued to its conclusion in an inquisitorial style in the book, and then brought to life in the play. The book charts the journey from realization to awakening, with stunning original artwork. The author pursues his question, 'why?' using a combination of investigative style mixed with spirituality and science, creating a solid foundation of the conclusions. The play written after the book builds on the themes and develops dialogue to make them come alive. Both will make you think, cry, despair but at times laugh. Ultimately, hopefully spur the listener to make changes.
