Risultati positivi al Covid-19 prima dell’imbarco, i passeggeri sono costretti a una quarantena forzata e imprevista in una villa antica e isolata nel cuore dei Nebrodi, in Sicilia. La villa, anni prima, è stata teatro di tragici eventi e, per questo, fra gli abitanti del luogo è segnata da una fama sinistra.
Quando alcuni ospiti iniziano a scomparire e a morire in circostanze misteriose e inspiegabili, il maresciallo Maddalena Pulvirenti intuisce che la malattia non è l’unica minaccia e che un assassino si aggira fra le mura del Covid-Hotel.
