About this listen

Marta and Serge are half-wild children whose parents let them explore. In the woods one day, they find a strange creature who needs their help. He is king of a supernatural ancient race which has always watched over our planet. They are growing impatient with human behavior, and the king asks them to deliver a vital message to Earth’s leaders. How will the children make their message heard? Will they get it to the right people in time? Will the queen of England help them save the planet?

As Marta and Serge grow up, they must keep their hearts open so they can continue to see the incredible beings. Their faith is tested as Earth's humans face increasing disasters. Marta in particular finds it hard to reconcile her memory of the magical creatures with her scientific career. She develops a highly sophisticated android whose abilities challenge all her beliefs. Serge has kept his heart open, and he must help Marta do the same if they are to keep on saving the planet and their own descendants.

Quantum Horizons is a modern fable that combines physics, space travel, black holes, artificial intelligence, environmental stewardship, magic, and growing up. It is a tale of science and wonder for all ages.
