SADLY DISAPPOINTING & VERY ANNOYING

First, when a book is entirely told from the heroine's POV you'd think that they'd get a female narrator - right? wrong!! and I just don't understand why not as it would've been a far better listen if they had. Next comes Gabriella the frustrating heroine.. she was so weak and not at all likeable - she had mind blowing sex with Flynn then shortly after that got engaged to his half brother Edward WHILE thinking about Flynn. She moved in and continued to physically commit to unsuspecting Edward while mentally dreaming of and secretly panting for Flynn.. and eventually she cheated. Third.. descriptions were lacking and my mental images had gaping blanks. Fourth.. Gabriella's bff was no friend - although I don't blame Edward at all!! Fifth (and final).. the title (and cover) were deceiving.. this was not pure lust - yes, there were sex scenes but they were only sprinkled throughout the plot.

Worth a credit? For me NO it wasn't - but just because this book didn't ring my particular bell who knows - it may well be your next great listen.

Good story!!!

I really enjoyed this story. I'm also enjoyed I didn't have to wait for the next book on another day. I'd rather hear the whole book instead of in parts, hence the"book set". The story was good and the narrator did a great job!!!! Looking forward to another story soon by the arthur but the same narrator or another gentleman narrator.

Typical Bad Boy Trope

The twists were as interesting as they were predictable. Of course the a-hole bad boy with a hidden hurting heart begging to love is the irresistible secret half brother of the charming alternative love interest who is WAY too good for the main character. Honestly I don't know why the male characters bother with her. Other than her looks the author didn't lend much else to the character - certainly no depth other than omg he's so hot I want him but oh no his brother is such a great guy. PASS.

Happy Ever Ick

It was weird to have a male reader for books told from a females POV. The whole time I was hoping that this is the chapter we get the male POV. As for the story it seemed to get drawn out. I think I was just getting frustrated with the cluelessness of everyone. Gabiella was a mixed bag for me. I liked it when she stood up for herself, but I hated that she was so self righteous. The book was just good enough to keep you listening while thinking when's this going to end.

Not

Up to their usual standard the sex scenes were tepid and the submissive scenes unimpressive. I wish I hadn't wasted a credit on it. And unlike their others, I never want to reread it

Good, but could have been better

Considering other books by this author, the sex in this story is good, but not at all the breath catching highs found by other characters. And the plot was entirely predictable.

May be a good story but the narrator ruined it

May be a good story but the narrator ruined it. First of all, it’s a man everything I heard was from the woman’s POV. Very confusing and just wrong. And he sounded like he had dry mouth and his tongue was sticking to the roof of his mouth. I quit.

Family Drama -

Gabriella Baine is struggling to make a name for herself as a writer for a TV show.

After meeting fashion photographer, Flynn McCreary she takes on odd modeling jobs. Sparks fly between the two of them, and then Flynn is gone.

Then handsome, romantic and mysterious Edward, a man who also seems to have it all but has mommy issues and is also keeping secrets.

I like the deep richness of AC Edwards voice however whomever decided to cast him for a female POV story/voice totally missed the target. I'm not particularly fond of Gabby's character, and I found it frustrating how Gabby goes from wanting to make something of herself to allowing Edward to manipulate and run her "choices." I really didn't like how she seems to toy and manipulate with the three brothers.

IMO I felt the romantic relationships were all forced and shallow and all the family drama....just wasn't my favorite read.
