Nice to Hear.

Public speaking is supposed to be one of the most fearful activities known to man (or woman). The author says, “This is all about building the confidence to be yourself and not look back on your fears.” Having addressed this in the first 3 chapters, the following chapters are full of techniques and advice which the public speaker will appreciate as he (or she) develops his (or her) craft.

I really don't like speaking in public and presenting things in front of people. But when I start my life as an entrepreneur, I really needed those skills. This book gives me very simple steps to follow and especially overcome fear. Good read and I can recommend this book to anyone.

Excellent Audio Book.

This book goes beyond "imagine everyone in the audience is wearing underwear". It starts off with addressing fear then moves to knowing your audience , crafting a stellar speech and presentation then finally stop self-sabotage. I liked the blurbs about well known people and how they overcame their struggles. I think this is a worth while listen for anyone who needs to sharpen their skills.

Nice to Hear.

Excellent book! I would have one observation regarding the kindle format. The last chapter containing inspirational stories has few issues. I found 3 paragraphs which interrupt suddenly and start with other ideas, other flow of thought and it is very frustrating...please check and do something on these lines...It is a pitty to have such minuses with such a great book!

Excellent Audio Book.

I was looking for practical suggestions on things I could do to improve my presentation skills. I am not a complete beginner, so I didn't want something too basic. I am not a great speaker, so I didn't want something too far above me either. Fortunately, I think this book offers information that any speaker can use. It is succinct and doesn't repeat, so despite its small size, it has a lot of information in it. I started doing some of the exercises right away and immediately began improving both my confidence and skill. It's a keeper!

Informative Book .

Loved the short chapters. They held my attention for a long time. The writing is engaging and polished. I honestly expected to be inundated with a wave of cliche advice and useless truisms, and I was pleasantly surprised when so much of the public speaking advice I got was actionable.

Valuable Book.

This book was incredibly helpful to me, and not only helped improve my public speaking, but also taught me how to increase my confidence. I could tell that the author put a lot of care and effort into crafting this book, and it shows in the incredible detail that he is able to portray about the world of public speaking.
