Publisher's Summary

David Morehouse was already a highly decorated third-generation army officer when a routine training operation radically changed his life. He was hit by a stray bullet, and after recovering he began to have out-of-body experiences. With his newfound psychic abilities, he became one of the top "remote reviewers" in a CIA espionage operation called "Stargate." On this thrilling and incredible journey, he shares his visions and traumas, the techniques and secrets of remote viewing, the discoveries and successes of the Stargate program, and his own amazing spiritual transformation and awakening.

Not a believable story

What was most disappointing about David Morehouse’s story?

While I don't doubt he might have some "talent" the story seems to lack sincerity. My opinion of course. I don't doubt there are people who have this type of skills, I personally know some, so what I doubt is his story, doesn't feel truthful. Thin story, thin explanations, and his relationship with the angel is too sketchy to be truthful. Quote from the book - his dad tells him "I gave you my angel".... no comments.

Have you listened to any of David Morehouse’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Psychic Warrior?

I would've challenged his truth and if he would've still state that the story is right, I would've guided him to add more details. He doesn't give any reasons to rational and spiritual people to believe him.

LOVED it!

A wonderful courageous man, with gut - level honesty. Very well written book. He held my interest from beginning to end. I'm impressed he read it himself; gave me the opportunity to discern his authenticity. The world needs a million more like him.

MisInformation

It is interesting to read an account of someone involved in the end of the stargate program, at a time where they were involved in discrediting the whole program. I feel for Morehouse being put in that position and become a bit of a scapegoat. I don't think he really got to experience RV'ing as it truely is, but his experience is enlightening, and he has a wonderful writing style, plus an easy listening voice. I enjoyed this book and wish it was not abridged.

Good story. Absolutely horrendous up-down volume!

Any additional comments?

This is an interesting book. It appears that the author himself read the book. His manner of speaking was fine, but he would go from normal speech to a whisper for a while, then raise his voice enough to blow your speakers, then back to a calm whisper. You will burn calories while listening to this audiobook while dialing the volume up and down. Again, good story, but absolutely horrible volume control. Note to editor of the audio: there's this neat invention called "normalization." Check it out and consider using it next time.

Fascinating tale.

The narrator is a low talker. The paragraphs and chapters bleed into one another but the story is well worth it.
