Still a great story worth listening to...

Excellent second installment of the Captive Prince series-- probably my favorite of the three. The characters grow, and you find out more about them and what makes them tick, but some intriguing holes in your knowledge remain. The narrator, Stephen Bel Davies, does a very good job with the material, especially Chapters 19 and 19.5 (bonus!), which I can imagine were not easy.

Poor narration

Not a fan of the narrator. Did not enjoy his dictation, found it to be dissonant and hard to listen to.

Still good

This one was a little slower than the the first one, and a lot of extra minor characters were introduced which I wasn’t a huge fan of but by the end I was happy. Excited for the third installment.

Stunning and tender

I loved how we got to explore the world more and are introduced to more characters; I loved watching the complex development of all the characters!
Seeing the Vere politics and backstabbing from Damien's point of view is really intriguing, especially since he is so unused to it and so appalled.

I'm happy with it

it's very captivating you keep on wondering when he's going to find out that he's actually the prince of The Other Nation and how that will affect their relationship
