Good read. Not too serious, a bit gory at times, but in context. I like the Doc, will be downloading the next book.

I like this audio book and as it was her first book as well, I think it was a great glimpse into later books. It was a bit slow to get going but I think that is to show how all the main players being Marino, Scarpetta, Lucy and Benton fit in with each other. I recommend a listen to this audio.
