Loved the book and Griff Rhys Jones' reading of it - wasn't so keen on some of the character voices, but it's a minor thing and not an irritation.

Griff Rhys Jones does an excellent job of portraying the nuances of the characters provided by the hilarious authorship of Tom Sharpe. If you like comedy braided in intelligent observation, a real understanding of irony and some good, old fashioned English 'slap-stick' humour then you'll absolutely love Porterhouse Blue. I nearly had one when I first read this book at 13yrs old, I'm 41yrs now and this book truly stands the test of time!
