Ask the great poker players how they'd play a hand and the answer is always "it depends." That answer can be infuriating. But guess what? It really does depend. The key to becoming a great poker player is in knowing what it depends on. At last there's a book that gives you that answer. Poker is a game of so many variables; table position, flop texture, the number of players in a hand, the personalities of your opponents, and so much more.

Understanding when to "change gears" is a highly developed skill that requires a great deal of study and experience.

Outstanding
If you play poker just using your intuition (as me before) you may play not bad, but not good. To win poker tournaments frequently you should be aware of what’s going on on the poker table.
This book is an excellent guide to deepen your understanding of which kind of player you should be to win and to learn how to use math in poker. Great audio book.

Great job
Although a short book, less than an hour, I found it very insightful. It is a great book for your average player or great for an advanced player. I have been feeling for a while now that I am one of the best players in the poker room, but my results are not there. After reading this book, I have realized I have gotten away from the things that separate the average player from the best players. This book has taught me poker math, the thing I think will help me distance away more from my competition. Great job James.

Very basic poker math
Didn’t really teach me anything I didn’t know, should only be read by amateurs, focuses a lot on pot limit and in my opinion the narrators voice is very annoying
