About this listen
Nick Horton shares and declares hope in a broken and groaning world. After several decades teaching, mentoring, and guiding discouraged people, I am slowly learning how to walk more rugged roads with others. They are often weary travelers who have faced squalls and storms of life. How do we handle sadness brought on from depression, broken families, emotional disorders, loneliness, or even death itself? Immersing ourselves in nature, surrounding ourselves and serving in secure communities produces strength in each of us. The path to light and life is an uphill journey. And like ancient pilgrims, we can best embrace the journey only when we know it leads to rapturous joy.
