One of the country’s most successful podcasts, I Catch Killers reveals the reality of life and death inside the justice system. Gary talks about the big things with an open mind - good and evil, hope and suffering, joy, tragedy - and redemption.

  • An interview with a killer: Anthony Jones Pt. 1
    Mar 14 2026

At a 2010 house party, Anthony Jones was involved in a drunken brawl, which led to a tragedy that impacted countless lives. Anthony stabbed his friend, Edan Brown, who died from the injuries.

Charged with murder, Anthony broke the criminal code and pled guilty as the first step to taking responsibility for his actions - a move that saw his own mother disown him in open court. With the Brown family’s blessing, Gary Jubelin sits down with Anthony to uncover the "pure evil" of his childhood and the rage that led him into a spiral that culminated in this senseless loss of life.

I stumbled across I Catch Killers in my Podcast and could not stop listening. Gary has a natural way of interviewing, is easy to listen to and has amazing guests on his show. I have loved every single episode and have a new found respect for ex criminals who have turned their lives around and have truly redeemed themselves.

An enormous loss to the NSW Police Department, a fantastic win for the land of journalism. Gary has shown what an unbelievable character he has and he is brutally honest without being bitter. Kudos to you Gary Jubelin, I cannot wait for my book to arrive :)
