I absolutely loved this book. if bluey's dad had a handbook it would be this book.

It completely changed the way I interact with my kids. instead of getting upset or angry I play games and break their bad moods. everyone is happier, most of all me.

What made the experience of listening to Playful Parenting the most enjoyable?

The anecdotal stories and the parent-to-parent advice provided a lot of food for thought and made A LOT of sense. It was entertaining, insightful and enlightening. I was always ready to start playing and connecting with my kids after listening to these words of wisdom.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that the author also recognised that he didn't always get parenting 'right' and that he made some less than desirable decisions in his parenting journey too. It was refreshing to hear from another parent who could see their errors, change their approach and have some grace for all of us who struggle at times.

This book is a must for all parents. It handles all aspects of parenting including discipline, setting limits, understanding your child, finding compassion and understanding and building your child's self esteem with well-researched evidence to back it all up.
