Started off half hearted listening to this for the sake of finishing a book I only took because of the author😙
Half way through & it just grabbed me.
Gutsy male & female well narrated.
Totally well written - sex abit over done but hey - it’s the authors story.
Just so sorry it took me years to find this author

Get past the first chapter or two and yr hooked. I liked this one of tl swans as it was a bit different. Prefer the other female narrator this author has used. Def recommend this one

Didn’t like the female narrator but storyline good

First time I have heard audio where girl reads all girl dialogue and boy reads all boy dialogue - don't know how I'm ever going to go back to listening to men trying to sound like woman and visa versa. Other than that, loved this book. Good pace, more going on to the story than just a guy and girl continually swooning and or fighting with each other. Good solid romance with plenty of action that keept me interested all the way through.

Honestly those first few chapters are horrific. There was no trigger warning so anyone who has a history of violence towards women should be prepared.

The rest of the book was great. The first component really overshadows is. Unless you look into the backstory of this book before reading it, there’s no inclining at all.

I’ve loved the other books by this author and throughly enjoyed thief, this one I feel wasn’t up to par. But also, the no trigger warning, I was a tad shocked about.

I really enjoyed this book. Had exciting and sad moments and kept me wanting to listen. I deff would recommend this book to everyone that loves a good romance :)
