Actual laugh out loud moments. A solid story and great characters. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the reviews were pretty spot on. Looking forward to hopefully another book from Britney Jackson.

You’ll fall in love with these characters. Captain Maria Welles, pirate extraordinaire, Emilia Drakon, The Dragon’s Child and all the characters of this well paced rollicking adventure. Read it over and over again and then jump into the next book. Your only disappointment will be that there’s no book three yet. Brilliantly narrated by Lindsey Dorcas, you’ll want to immerse yourself in this amazing tale of pirates, witches and dragons.

I didn’t quite realise how much I would enjoy this type of writing. Adventure with tough, complex and sexy queer women. Great escapism, I listened over a weekend. I’d like to see more of this world.
