About this listen

Philosophy has always been more than an ivory tower discipline. Renowned philosophers from Plato to Nietzsche and many others produced fiction with thought-provoking philosophical content.

Many of philosophy’s story-tellers preferred long walks rather than the confines of the ivory tower. I’m a workaday philosopher of no renown who has enjoyed both for a long time, deep thoughts in the Tower, long walks to process them. I’ve been producing fiction for a long time, too, content that has been thought provoking to me because it has emerged in the course of my life’s expedition. These are short thoughts, medium thoughts, and longer thoughts, all somehow related.

Philosophy is a grand discipline and there is something for everyone. There’s a lot to hate, too. There may be something grand here for you. Maybe you’ll find that deep thought suits you.
