Publisher's Summary

Jacqueline, an American divorcée, is going to Paris for the first time in her life. In this magical city, she will discover many surprises, including about herself.

With this fun novel, written in easy French, we visit the city of lights with Jacqueline. It's a fantastic way to learn new vocabulary and to travel to Paris!

Reading an audiobook in French can be difficult, even for advanced learners. French novels are usually full of idiomatic expressions. They use complicated tenses, complex sentence structures, and often slang. This audiobook, written in easy French, is recommended for French learners with a basic understanding of French at a pre-intermediate level and above.

The audiobook is divided into two sections:

Section 1 has the story written completely in French and includes vocabulary and grammar exercises.

Section 2 contains the complete translation in English and answers to all the exercises so that listeners can check their comprehension.

There is NO vocabulary, exercises and translation

I feel robbed. The offer for this book says: “The audiobook is divided into two sections:
Section 1 has the story written completely in French and includes vocabulary and grammar exercises.
Section 2 contains the complete translation in English and answers to all the exercises so that listeners can check their comprehension.”
Unfortunately, that is NOT TRUE! 1) There is NO vocabulary and grammar exercises and the section 2) - English part with translation (which should be in the second half of the book) does not exist at all.
The story is quite interesting, but the voice that should represent a beautiful, sexy 50-year-old is in fact the voice of an insecure, shy teacher and does not fit the character at all.
My French is intermediate level and I understood most of the text, but I could not understand new words. If you plan to learn from a text that offers you no vocabulary and no translation, good luck, but I think you can find much more useful things on You-tube for free.
