Really good book if you are interested in learning about Perturabo’s past and why he is what he is. Lots of life lessons on this one. Good book for growing teens and adults alike.

Pleasantly surprised with this title which I didn’t have high hopes for.

Perturabo, as a character, is a lot more complicated than I ever imagined and it was a roller coaster following his high goals and low insensate rages. How terrible are the Hrud as adversary’s? Hope to read more about this species in future novels.

Thoroughly enjoyed this title and would recommend.

interesting insight into the mind of the iron warriors primarch. Story mainly focuses on his upbringing and a thankless task - defeating the Hrud. To be fair he is an average character at best but Jonathan Keeble always makes the story interesting.
