Leo jumped in front of an arch Angel for Ferry. Ferry spent thousands of years waiting for that one hour. burying his love time and time again but never letting his soul go alone....
My husband shakes my hand goodbye in the morning because to bend over to kiss me is too much effort 😅 like Ferry the bar was on the floor, you could have raised it an inch and been amazing but nope. he had to put it sky high!
Dont even get me started on Leo's fierce love and 'i jump in front of danger everytime. I dgaf sups' love a human who is so care factor zero in the face of all that power and can back it up.
pros: hurt/comfort be high. found family love. the fucking bench. Love the characters and how they interact. the boxing scene.
cons: reading could lead to a fight with a spouse who had no idea why they need to live up to the level of love a fallen Angel shows. be warned ⚠️

Patience is set in the paranormal world created in Lark Taylor's Reckless Damned series and follows the story of Ferry, who was introduced in the previous series as the Ferryman carrying dead souls over the river Styx, who is seeking to connect with his reincarnated mate, Leo.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story that was created to explain how these two characters ended up apart and then eventually find each other in present day. There were fun moments, laugh out loud moments and moments that sort of tugged at the heart strings. Also, the spice level between Ferry and Leo was 🔥🪭🔥.
I eye-ball read this book when it was first released, but I have to say what a dynamic duo Dan Calley and Will M Watt are as Ferry and Leo. Definitely made this great fun story even more enjoyable.
