Everything has a price. Pangea Online is no different.

Since leaving the orphanage, Esil has spent the past year toiling in the data mines of Pangea while watching the wealthy elite traverse its myriad of game worlds. His luck changes forever when he discovers a legendary Developer's Chest. The Premium Worldpass inside grants him unlimited access to all of Pangea.

Now, Esil isn't just stuck watching as others explore Pangea. He can finally level up.

With his newfound fortune, he enters a tournament to compete against some of the most skilled adventurers Pangea has to offer. He’s a long shot to win, but for the first time in his life, being a kid from the slums has its advantages when he discovers a bug in the obscure data-mining class.

With an even playing field, he might just have a shot.

But his in-game actions have real-world consequences and failure online threatens everything he holds dear.

Could have been better

Book 1 and Book 2 were great but at Book 3 it felt like a let down. the story is fine but I felt like the book could've gone through a different path, but either way it was an okay book.

Vanilla

If you like vanilla ice cream you might like this book. The hero is nothing special and remains nothing special to the end. Honestly, the main bad guy seems like he has a better story. That being said, it wasn’t bad. Just very vanilla.

Derivative but fun

This cookie cutter litRPG series draws heavily from other better books, i.e. RPO but is good light listening if you don't mind the formulaic nature.

Fun series

This is definitely a bargain being 3 books in 1. I enjoy that each book in this series is a complete story. Each book is just another adventure into Pangea Online. There are some Ready Player One vines through the book but it develops into a distinctly unique world through the course of the series.

I thouroughly enjoyed this!

The world building in this book makes me wish I could play the game right along with them. Fantastic characters with depth and weighty decisions in a post apocalyptic world. The cast of Narrators is top notch and delivers an immersive festival of brain candy.

Good premise, poor story telling.

TL;DR - Good premise, poor story telling.

The premise of the story had potential but quickly start to see that the execution was rather bland. It took me a while to figure out why I didn't like the story even though I like the voice actors.

- There was very little character development for the main character. Apparently he has a very difficult past? Who knows, it wasn't explained very well.
- Characters in general were very bland.
- The magic/power system is so generic - which would be fine if the story was any good.
- There never was a sense of "mystery" you can deduce from a mile away what is going to happen.
- Too much plot armour

just ok.

A very simplistic story. Honestly if I didn't buy the trilogy for a credit I would have never gone past the first book.

Lucky

The over all story was pretty entertaining. With that said, her is my issues with the story. The MC must of had a Luck attribute of ♾. The antagonist didn't stand a chance against plot armor. Also, the MC is between 19 and 21 years old yet sounds like a 35 year old man. I honestly think the story was rushed to conclusion. I would've liked to have seen a story where the MC had to do a slow leveling grind to justify his accomplishments. Instead the reader was given the delusion of a leveling grind.

glad I finally got to this

I really enjoyed this series, perhaps even more than Sentenced to troll. the story moves along quickly, almost too quickly and I see lots of areas with potential for expansion. I hope one day to be called back to this series, I'd love to see how the side characters make out. I felt like book 2 could have been expanded to its own trilogy and there's a lot of potential here. all in all a really good listen.

excellent work by the new narrator for sound booth as well!
