After a failed rescue attempt, the Corvinus sisters, Sunny and Jo, are trapped in the Ettrian palace with the dark king. A king who is slowly but surely going mad and thinks Sunny is his long dead love, back from the afterworld. It’s a race against time for them to escape before the king performs a sinister ritual that could bind Sunny to him forever.
Meanwhile, Seren Reed, a watcher capable of seeing the future, informs his friends that they must find Sunny and Jo and travel to the Wastes, a lawless land of cutthroats and criminals. They must face monsters in both human and beast form in order to fight a growing darkness that threatens to devour all of Writhia.

Great!
Palace of Moonlight was great! It picks up immediately where Crown of Sunlight left off. We get to see Sunny and Jo and their struggle to escape their current captivity. What happened to Westin is revealed. Oh and Leo, how I love Leo. He has to be my favorite character in this entire story. This audiobook has the same narrator as Crown of Sunlight. That is a plus for me because Yetter is a great narrator. While this is a single narrator audiobook she breathes life into each character and truly makes them unique. You can instantly tell each person apart! I absolutely recommend this story, especially the audiobook version.

Adventurous
Palace of Moonlight, the second book in the Corvinus Chronicles, is an excellent followup to the first book. It's well-written fantasy with sci-fi elements and at times dark undertones. The second book is more engaging with more suspense and action scenes. The world-building in the series is brilliant and compelling.
Jillian Yetter does a fabulous job with the narration, bringing the characters to life. Overall, this is a very entertaining series, and I look forward to the third book. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
