HELPED BEYOND WORDS

One chapter focuses on religion (im not religious) but he goes straight back after to the general non selective group. So many 'oh wow' moments. So many tears but tears that feel like someone has their arms around you tears. Iv been in a dark hole, feeling like everything around me is thick and murky but i honestly feel lighter and feel a sense of relief. Not pain wise but head & heart. Im no preacher but when you find something that has helped so well its worth letting others know incase they are ready to find something that works for them. 😁 my Psych noted this book down today, she was very happy to see such an uplift in me. Hopefully she can use it for others too.

A very simplistic book

The book only looks at practical strategies in a minimalistic way and contains a lot of repetition of the authors own experiences. I listened to the whole book and realistically the last chapter is really the only part which aims to give practical advice on strategies of which are widely known and documented for free elsewhere- strategies are descriptively is very basic. It feels like more of an auto biography of his own journey to bring closer and a sense of self gratitude and does not achieve the aims of the book as it constantly relates to repetitive accounts of his journey and those he has help
