Igennem mange år var hun madskribent for Politiken. Hun har haft flere madprogrammer på DR og DR2, og hun har skrevet en lang række bøger om madlavning, havebrug og bagning, blandt andet "Ælle bælle frikadelle", "Sødt", "Umoderne mad", "Et ordentligt brød", "Camillas havebog" og "Camillas køkkenhave".
