Wonderful

What a profoundly beautiful , smart and insightful podcast! Kemi is incredibly generous and moving the way she coaches each guest. Clare Bowditch’s episode was so poignant for me as an older artist as well, regaining her ownership of being an artist once more out in the world. 5 stars all the way!

Amazing despite the brutal attack

I loved this series. I'm not the ideal target listener but as an coach who works with wonderful women I felt obligated to listen and I'm glad I did. just one thing that did hurt me quite deeply. I am who you described 20 minutes or so into this episode. White able bodied man etc except that is not my imprint. You cannot generalise like that, especially as a coach that has a lot of influence over others. I grew up in a multi racial home. my step father a man of colour. The same man who bagged me for no reason on several occasions just because he was in a bad mood. I was sexually abused, also by a man of colour. I'm definitely not racist as a lot of my family are black, I never use that term, of colour, but I felt you need the context. Perhaps the next time you judge a white man and guess his imprint, you can think again and attempt to understand why you are so critical and judgemental. I feel guilty for being a white straight man and it's not right. I forgive you and don't hold grudges but I just felt compelled to post this in the hope that you may see it and consider that we are all suffering in our own way. yes, even straight white able bodied men.

It is like being coached

I learnt so much from these coaching sessions by Kemi, and a part of me are related to each one of the people that she coached. So I found I learnt something about myself that made me stronger more resilient or where I needed to set boundaries in my life. Thank you so much for creating this.

So interesting

I don’t usually like life coaching style things. But this is so insightful and interesting, and the range of amazing women Kemi talks with is perfect. Just the right level of info to be challenging to the listener as well.

I could not stop listening!

I was only going to listen to one episode this morning but ended up binging all 7! Having read Kemi's book POWER, I was fascinated to see how it was put into action during these talks. Each one was so unique and Kemi has this amazing gift of being able to identify what it is that person needs at that moment. Hoping there will be another series soon.
