Publisher's Summary

An unpauseable story of murder, revenge and betrayal from international number one best seller Jeffrey Archer.

The clock is ticking in this roller-coaster ride of a thriller....

In London, the Metropolitan Police set up a new Unsolved Murders Unit - a cold case squad - to catch the criminals nobody else can.

In Geneva, millionaire art collector Miles Faulkner - convicted of forgery and theft - was pronounced dead two months ago. So why is his unscrupulous lawyer still representing a dead client?

On a luxury liner en route to New York, the battle for power at the heart of a wealthy dynasty is about to turn to murder.

And at the heart of all three investigations are Detective Chief Inspector William Warwick, rising star of the Met, and ex-undercover operative Ross Hogan, brought in from the cold.

But can they catch the killers before it’s too late?

Jeffrey Archer’s previous novel Nothing Ventured was a number one Sunday Times best seller w/c 28th March 2020.

Over my dead body

Great reader
G Archer again proves to be a master story teller and achieves it with good writing no over described sex and violence and art of painting a picture with minimums words
The only faction author whose books I save to offer visitors looking for a good read.

Another enjoyable Archer novel

A great “read” but not quite in the same class as “A Prisoner of Birth”

I enjoy the William Warwick series

I think for such a smart person there were a few silly blunders that helped the bad guys.

Love the story telling

This story is filled with twists and turns- whenever you think the villain is to be caught he gets away in a fantastical scenario - there’s tragedy, there’s humour, bravery and justice so go for it readers and enjoy Archer

Always a good story but

Jeffery Archer does it again great story but my god the writing in this story is so pretentious. Some of the characters are becoming unrealistic in their responses to situations. But you should listen to this story all the same as it is very good.
