Publisher's Summary

She drives him crazy...in more ways than one.

Every time Leah Holt encounters Quantum Production’s chief counsel, Emmett Burke, the only thing she can think of is how much she wants to lick him. Everywhere. She’s never had that kind of reaction to a man, and the fact that he’s a much-older colleague makes her out-of-control attraction to him far more complicated than it should be. Every day, she brings a new legal question to Emmett, hoping to catch his attention and make him see her as a grown woman who wants him desperately. She walks a fine line in trying to remain professional as the assistant to superstar Marlowe Sloane while lusting after Marlowe’s sexy attorney.

To Emmett, Leah is a fly buzzing around his head who can’t be swatted away. She’s always there, looking at him, asking him legal questions that have nothing to do with his specialty in entertainment law and generally driving him mad with her overt sexiness and sassy mouth. He wants to toss her over his desk and run the sass right out of her, which is hardly the way a professional who loves his job should behave in the office - especially with a young, fresh, sexy colleague. As the author of the company’s policy on inter-office dating, he’s painfully aware of all the reasons he should stay far, far away from her and the tantalizing temptation she represents.

Then Leah gets her chance to step up for Emmett, to help him through an unfortunate “accident” and to show him she’s much more than just a smart mouth and a sexy body. When she realizes she has genuine feelings for him - and that those feelings are returned - she wonders if he will take a chance on her or continue to hold her at arm’s length. Slowly but surely, she chips away at his resistance, and he begins to crave more of her. But Emmett knows if he’s going to let her in, he has to let her all the way in. What will she think when he introduces her to his lifestyle? Will she still want him the way she does now or will she run away in horror? And what will he do if she runs away?

When Leah confronts a dangerous threat from her past, Emmett is forced to acknowledge that his “annoying little fly” has worked her way firmly into his heart - and his bed.

Also, join the entire Quantum team at the company’s vineyard in Napa for Hayden and Addie’s wedding!

Outrageously Funny!

This is by far the best Quantum novel yet. I loved Leah and Emmett! Leah had a crush on Emmett from the first time she saw him . She found reasons to go see him for "legal" questions at Quantum where she's an admin and he's the company lawyer. He saw through that but an accident put them together for a day or so and he found that she was irresistible even though he thought she was too young for him. Seems that attraction doesn't respect age. Some of the situations and banter in this book had me laughing or trying not to when I was around people. Leah and Emmett are one of my favorite couples. I can't wait for the next book for Marlowe to find her love. It was nice to catch up with the rest of the couples and see how they are one big family. The bonus story at the end was an unexpected pleasure. Marie Force sure has the talent for bringing the characters to life. Maxine Mitchell and Aiden Snow narrate the story wonderfully and bring another dimension to the characters.

Stuffed Shirt meets Ms. Unfiltered...what a combo!

I see this book as being divided into two phases in some ways. The first part reminds me of a slapstick comedy and as it progresses we are given glimpses into Leah and Emmett's mind's.The book lets us understand some of the "weightier issues " that Emmett and Leah have dealt with in their lives. As with all the Quantum books it is filled with our favorite characters and their funny antics. We get to attend the wedding of Addie and Hayden and of course what is a Quantum book without some extra steamy scenes. The second half of the book is more serious , but that pulls everything together so Leah and Emmett can have a healthy relationship. Kudos to Marie Force for her innovative bedroom antics!
All I could do was laugh out loud!!

Enjoyable but Flawed

I enjoyed Leah and Emmet's story as their interactions were frequently so funny that I laughed out loud.

Spoliers......

My biggest problem was with the fact that Leah's pictures of herself giving blow jobs while a minor were posted on the internet and Emmett is suing for defamation. Really? the 3 former classmates who posted these pictures would have been prosecuted for CHILD PORN. And, in fact, Leah could have been prosecuted when she was a minor for taking and distributing these blow job pictures. There is no protection for minors from child porn laws - even if they are the ones taking the picture and sharing it. Just imagine if this was allowed - all child porn would be filmed by children because they could not be prosecuted. This totally threw me out of the book and negated much of my enjoyment because of the pure ignorance of the child porn and selfies law displayed.

Perfect

Perfection shouldn't be touched at all. Marie Force has done justice with BDSM and the characters.

Love them all!

I loved all of the Quantum Series and this was my favorite. I would have liked to have known more about the fate of the bad guys but these were still very solid stories. Can't wait for Marlowe's story. Thought Sebastian ranked a story so I hope Ms Force might consider.

Fantastic series

This series dragged me in, from Flynn and Nat to Emmett and Leah. Above all I laughed the hardest at this book. I love the story and banter between the characters.

Totally should read the entire series. I might suggest not listening or reading around nosy husbands or co-workers.

Fantastic narration. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell it.

Fantastic narration. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell it.
This is book 7 in the hugely successful Quantum series and is the story of Emmett Burke and Leah Holt and oh what a story it is!
I loved everything about the pairing of Emmett and Leah, they are fantastic characters individually but together they are amazing and it made reading Outrageous super easy.
Leah loves her job as the PA to movie star Marlowe Sloane and even more so that she is continuously outs herself in the path of the oh so smoking hot Emmett who absolutely ticks all her boxes. Sure he is older than her with a lot more experience but he draws her to him like a moth to a flame. Of course the only problem is that Emmett is equally determined to keep his distance from her despite the attraction he feels.
When an opportunity falls at her feet, Leah has the chance to show Emmett that there is more to her than meets the eye. Emmett slowly but surely falls for Leah but will she accept the BDSM lifestyle he leads or run? Can Emmett survive if Leah rejects his lifestyle?
The writing is excellent and the characters are so likeable that Ms.Force makes them easy to connect too. I loved seeing glimpses of the others at Emmett and Leah raced towards their happily ever after.
I loved this book from start to finish, it was great catching up with the other couples and I cannot wait until there is another addition to the Quantum series. I highly recommend this book and the series. Although a stand-alone, I feel to get the “story” of the people who make up this “family” of Quantum people it would be best to read them in order. I know you won’t be disappointed.
