Unfortunately I just couldn't like this story, I'm not even sure if I got more than half way through but it just tries way too hard with all the witty humour....the dialogue is also way out of character with the time period, it feels like they are modern people having modern conversations but hang on, they're wearing dresses with bustles...

narrator is ok I guess maybe a little dramatic for my taste.
