Das Filmhörspiel zum Film "Ostwind - Aufbruch nach Ora". Mika arbeitet inzwischen als "Pferdeflüsterin" auf Gut Kaltenbach, doch die neue Aufgabe wächst ihr langsam über den Kopf. Sie möchte wieder frei sein! In einer Nacht-und-Nebel-Aktion bricht Mika mit Ostwind auf nach Andalusien - Ostwinds Heimat. Auf der Hacienda Monte Sabio lernt Mika neue Freunde kennen und entdeckt Ostwinds "Familie", die in einer wilden Pferdeherde rund um die Wasserquelle Ora lebt. Doch Ora und die Pferdeherde sind bedroht und Mika und Ostwind stehen vor einer neuen großen Herausforderung.
