Another excellent volume in this series

If you’ve enjoyed the previous books in this series you’ll love this one. Fast paced, generally strategic overview of a highly believable WWIII scenario. The one thing that let it down for me though was the narrator. Unfortunately I think the book would be far more exciting with a less robotic (almost monotone) voice reading it.

Realistic

A series that hit's a little to close to what's happening with China, Russia, and Iran in the middle-east. Each book get's more terrifying as the world war spreads and the weapons get deadlier. I'm looking forward to book 4 . This is the best World War III series I have read so far and especially realistic because of the moves that are being made today by the very same Nations that are known as the Axis in the series. The only thing that I didn't care for was the narrator.

The performance was the worst ever, a disgrace. the narrator was not believable and detracted from the story significantly. Narration this poor and the management thereof was aweful. FUBAR

Great story, terrible narration

The story is realistic and extremely entertaining. The narrator is absolutely awful though. His normal talking voice is fine but when he tries to change his voice to other characters it sounds a lot like a terrible Sylvester Stallone impression. It distracts from the story itself and would be comical if the subject matter wasn’t about war.

The narration did not live up to standards

I normally just give the stars review and haven't written one before, but the narration was so monotone and hard to listen to that I almost gave up on the series. I really hate to say that because someone put hard work into it, but honestly it was very hard to listen to. Very dry, monotone, and stereotype voices for characters pulled me out of the immersion of the story. The story was decent on this book, but this was unfortunately the low point in the series. I wish the narrator the best and I hope he can improve future performances.

Alexa has more personality than this narrator...

In hundreds of listens this is my first BAD NARRATOR review. It's better to load this into your ipad and have the system voice read - it has more personality and doesn't do unrealistic voices that sound like Rocky or Thurston Howell III. The story is great; just difficult to stomach the audio.

Such a shame.

Unfortunately the third installment of this series was ruined by the introduction of a new and sub-par narrator. Couldn't even finish it.

Wake up the narrator

First book was great, second was great and i feel this one could be too if the narrator would just wake up. Very poorly performed in a monotone voice and lots of words not said all the way through. The story is good but with the current narrator its pretty much un-listenable

Disappointed

They have done this story no favours by changing the narrator. Very disappointed with the above as I was engrossed in the first 2 books and basically binged listened them. I soon got brought back to earth with the boring narration in this chapter of the story. I am new questioning whether to use a credit on the 4th book. Regards Mark from Barnsley

Narrator sounds like hes reading a script...

The story is good but for the love of god who thought this guy would be good to read it? it literally sounds like hes reading a dictionary out loud in front of a nursing home... Talk about boring the audience to sleep with a voice
