Publisher's Summary
A hilarious fantasy book bundle!
Book one: A Quest of Undoing
Follow Master Wizard Xebdigon Whizzfiddle as he struggles to complete a nearly impossible quest in only 30 days. He must help an enormous dwarf, an unattractive elf, a knight who is afraid of his own shadow, a lizard who is launching a nudie magazine, and a squashed-down giant who believes he's a wizard. Failure will cost Whizzfiddle his guild membership, but success may land him in the Afterlife! Fortunately booze is his magical power source, so at least he'll be mentally befuddled during the entire ordeal.
Book two: The Full Moon Event
Paulie Vergen is a vampire living the daily grind of life until a fateful day when a newly infected Werewolf landed on his doorstep. All Paulie wanted was peace and quiet, but life didn't often seem to care about his plans. He's now faced with helping the poor werewolf navigate through the Underworld in order to find the help that he needs.
Book three: Bob the Zombie
Bob is a zombie who was just going about his business when a band of thieves stole his hand so that they could make a batch of Elfagra in the Upperworld. While it's bad enough that they've stolen Bob's hand for such a purpose, it comes to the Zombie's attention that if the bad guys use the wrong technique it could cause a cosmic rift that will spell the real death of Bob...not just the long, drawn out one that's part of being a Zombie.
Book five: Gappy's Gadgets
Gappy Whirligig is an industrious gnome who has yet to reach the Age of Tinkering. In a flash, Gappy's life flips upside down, leaving him to make the decision to either strike out on his own or become a 42-year-old foster child. Gappy demonstrates his industrious spirit as he leaves Hubintegler's rules and regulations behind and instead seeks to make his mark in the seedy town of Planoontik.

Hit the spot nicely
I was on another quest for sci-fi comedy, which led me to these little gems. I found them light, frivolous, and humorous, which I badly needed.
They are four separate stories, the only connection being the places. My favorite is #4. If you end up buying the books separately, it doesn't matter in what order they are read.
Loved the books -- must mean I love the authors, right?
Jus Sargeant is an excellent narrator!

Humor? What's that?
I love good fantasy books, and books with good humor. Pratchett. Eric Flint. Michael Stackpole. Stasheff. Others.
This, however? It's not even a "young-adult" book. It is a book for adolescent entry-level readers who find fart jokes and feces-smearing jokes hilarious, and crack themselves silly because of silly names of characters.
And the few good jokes the authors come up with, they repeat, and repeat, and repeat, and explain. Gah!
The plot is best described as "a bunch of people I don't care about doing weird stuff for unclear reasons". Plus, the authors preach and moralize.
There is no doubt that they had some good ideas and lots of good intentions... but these do not make a good book. At best, a very average one.
The only great thing about this book is the narrator. He has a unique voice for every character, while managing to make them all understandable.
Probably for the return bin, although possibly not... To be fair, it's not like it's the worst book I've read - just not one of the good ones.

Actually truer
to Terry Prachett's Discworld than most books compared that incredible series. The author has a dry sense if humor but had plenty of LOL moments. The stories and characters are not stereo typical and neither are the plots. Highly recommend this series and hope there are more coming soon! LOVE this feel good series! The reader is amazing and does multiple accents well! A great read all around!

So much fun
Firstly, 4 books for 1 credit is an awesome deal. All of these stories are well written and supremely funny. While there's adventure, magic, different races (humans, gnomes, ogres, etc) it's light-hearted and full of really silly , tongue in cheek, puns and jokes. The world building is great. The narration is absolutely fantastic. There are different voices and sound effects to really bring the story to life. I do want to add that the author had free codes up for grab & I was lucky enough to get one for an honest review. Will definitely continue with the rest of the series.

An enjoyable bundle if ya like weird and silly thi
it's rather enjoyable, albeit, the first book like to repeatedly stating how the wizards get their magic, otherwise it's fine. the weakest of the set is the last one, at least in comparison to the others.

Such diversity in characters and voices
Absolutely adore this set:the stories, characters,& world building are diverse and extremely entertaining. This narrator has one of the most diverse and wide range character acting abilities that I have ever come across and I don't mean exclusively in audiobooks but in anime, tv, movies, EVER. It's a great fun, light-hearted, whimsical adventure that I can listen to repeatedly especially when I need an escape to feel better

Just wonderful
Loved the narrator and all his many voices. The stories were sweet and funny, they gave me a warm upbeat feeling, many smiles and the occasional chuckle. Exactly what I like. The lighthearted silliness reminded me of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels even though the style is very different from Pratchett. The only problem I have with these stories is that they came to an end. I miss Ononokin. I'm pretty sure I'll go there again before long.
