Do not waste time nor money

Recording sounds almost like a machine.

There are several generalizations and misinterpreted information.

Not even worth it 😕

Buy this book if you want to change your life

Lots of books on intermittent fasting are about going all in. Not this book! This book is about slowly setting yourself up for success by making small changes in your life until you can fully OMAD.

The psychological tricks this book teaches you as well as the steady approach is amazing. I use them daily to help me stay on track.

I've listened to a lot of these books - this one is the best.

A New Perspective To I.F & I LOVE IT !!

I've been a huge advocate for intermittent fasting, I truly believe it is the cheat code to weight loss & lifestyle change. Over the past year I've taken the challenge to change my lifestyle and it has been a success to date. However, I WISH i would have gotten my hands on this book at the time and I would have either increased my success rate in results or in time 100%. Never knew about this sub section to I.F being One Meal A Deal Aka OMAD. A very interesting take indeed. If you are wondering about getting into Intermittent Fasting or want to change your current I.F routine and spice it up I would highly recommend getting your hands on this book!

Solid listen on intermittent fasting

I like the idea of intermittent fasting, but I often forget to do it, so I picked this one up as a reminder. Along the way, I learned a few new things about intermittent fasting (“IF”) that I didn’t know before. For example, according to some studies, it can even extend your life.

I really liked how this book presents a wide range of information about the subject — including potential risks and side effects with different fasting approaches. I love when authors provide such information and allow us listeners to make our own informed decisions.

Overall, this is a good one, and one I recommend.

very informative

I have been doing intermediate fasting for a year or so, but only 16/8 or 20/4 kind of fasting but never did a single meal on a day, but this book has given me a whole new prospect about intermediate fasting. This book is very informative, especially if you want to lose weight and eat less but in a nutritious way or you are into intermediate fasting like me, then this is the book you need to read. This book is not just a book about one meal a day, but it will tell you a lot about how to fast in a proper nutritious way and help you have a better metabolism and lose weight.

Good!

There are so many diets in this world and even more books on this topic. So I wasn't expecting much from this one, but to be honest, it did not disappoint at all. I never read a book about the OMAD methode before, and I must say that I was a little scared about it. One meal a day seems terrifying, right? Wrong! You have to look at it like a lifestyle instead of a diet. This book gives all the tips you need to start changing your lifestyle and keep it going. I recommend!

Thank Kate McCarty for this great book!

Intermittent fasting and fasting, in general, are very popular weight loss and health improvement methods. In the beginning, it was hard for me to stay motivated because I felt very hungry, but after a few weeks, it got better and better.

interesting and informative

I got this book to hear what this intermittent fasting actually entails as I keep hearing about it from other people. As I have been fasting for one whole month a year for religious purposes for most of my life, but never really any other time of year, that is until recently, I thought I would do a bit of research and do this properly!!

Like most people working from home this year I noticed that it has its pitfalls as you can access the fridge at anytime!! I noticed I had put a little weight on so decided one day to fast one day a week.
I kept a fast for one day a week for 8 weeks then now I am keeping a fast 2 days a week.

I agree with the author the benefits outweigh the hunger pangs when you first start. the author has done a lot of research and gives excellent advice and tips for fasting whether you do it for health reasons or just to lose a bit of extra weight.
Most importantly the advice is about a balance of healthy eating you need to maintain on the days when you are not fasting. a very good informative book

Great book with lots of useful information

OMAD and autophagy have become more popular in the past few years. As someone who has practiced 16/8 intermittent fasting for more than 5 years now, I was interested in broadening my horizons. This book is well researched, clearly laid out and full of actionable advice.

And if you're skeptical about being hungry, it takes about 3 days to get used to your new eating pattern. After that it becomes normal.

Weight Loss and Body Cleansing

I couldn’t put this book down and listen it over a weekend and immediately started fasting even on the weakest plan of intermittent fasting. Within a few weeks, my blood sugar was back to normal at every time of the day and all pre-diabetes GONE! I followed the recommendation of low carbs too, etc and have dropped 18lbs and 7% body fat in 43 days too. My energy has skyrocketed, I have broken personal bests running and in the gym. I’m almost never hungry.

Guide to Healthy Eating Everyday

I began to eat less and less until I would eat one meal a day and wasn't really starving. I worked my way up to fasting longer and longer periods. I am now on day three and no hunger at all. I do not feel weak and work a very busy schedule with hardly any breaks.

One Meal a Day Intermittent Fasting

I lost 21 Lbs in 3 months. Fasting is so nice. I never have to count my calories. I eat one or two meals a day. I just make sure I fast for 16 hour's a day or more. Most of the fasting is done during sleep. I never feel hungry all the time like I use too. I feel great.
