Øjvind døde for 308 år siden, da han var otte år gammel. Nu er han et usynligt spøgelse og bor hos sin ven Søren. En dag sker der noget mærkeligt. Øjvind bliver pludselig synlig! Nu må Søren hjælpe Øjvind med at finde hoved og hale i nutidens verden.

Bent Bo Nielsen (1949-2018) var en dansk forfatter. Han var oprindeligt uddannet folkeskolelærer og udgav over 150 børnebøger. Han debuterede som forfatter i 1980 med billedbogen "Skrubben Sigurd" og modtog i 1992 Danmarks Skolebibliotekers forfatterpris sammen med Hans Chr. Hansen.
