Gripping,

This is about so much more than just a great heist - though it's a hell of a premise. Marc Fennell is as always empathetic, charming and a delight to listen to. He is completely in control of his craft here. There are some fantastic insights into our food chain (I'll never look at olive oil, or almonds for that matter the same way again). Brilliant stuff.

Fantastic!

I loved this so much. I just ditched two previous podcast series (by different people) for being too fake and overdramatic, so I was apprehensive to try one about nuts. This series is so wonderful, the journalist himself is baffled and laughing at how something as simple and seemingly innocent as nuts can have such a dark and complex underbelly. Mark takes you on an amazing journey that surprises even him. Make sure you listen all the way to the end, there is much to learn.

Very engaging author / narrator

I enjoyed this a lot. Mark fennell is a good journalist and excellent narrator. The series doesn't follow the crime in every episode, it veers off into related areas and ends up more of a commentary of food production, but no less enjoyable for that.

Interesting niche story

I listened to it in one sitting and I loved the way each episode addressed a different issue contributing to an interesting dynamic in the story of one major concern of the American food chain.
