Meine Geschichte handelt an einem nasskalten Donnerstag im Frühherbst des Jahres 1968. Ich war damals 27 Jahre alt und arbeitete im Hotel Schwarzinger, das später der U-Bahn weichen musste. Ich war seit zwei Jahre geschieden und fühlte mich in dem Hotel wegen der familiären Stimmung unter dem Personal recht wohl. Einer der großen Vorteile des Schwarzinger gegenüber dem Hotel Bauer, in dem ich jetzt mein Geld verdiene, waren die vielen Parkplätze. Die sind für mein Geschäft wichtig, weil Kunden weiterfahren, wenn sie nicht parken können.
