Developmental Psychology: Lifespan Development discusses both sides of sensitive social issues from prenatal care to euthanasia and the elderly to the legitimacy of the church. These issues affect all of us at one time or another be it being passed up for a job in favor of a senior citizen employee or deciding as a parent when too much civic engagement can be potentially harmful. Both sides of the pertinent issues will be discussed providing a more valid reader opinion on the subjects. The book does not attempt to influence the reader pertaining to subjects, yet is influential in its manner of providing a choice of which debate is right or wrong.
What would have made Developmental Psychology better?
Everything! It seemed more like a collection of opinions with a strong conservative Christian influence. Additionally, the woman read in almost a monotone, adding no personality at all.
What do you think your next listen will be?
With regards to Developmental Psych, I will be reading my next selection. Audible does not have a good selection.
How could the performance have been better?
Given the text of the book, even a reader full of life could not have done much to help this book...
What character would you cut from Developmental Psychology?
Any additional comments?
Luckily it only cost $4.86 but I now understand why.
