Well written and researched. The author has a very easy writing style, and the narrator a very pleasant voice. I will definitely continue with this series.

This book and its protagonist should never, and could never, be compared to the Sharpe series. To do so would be an injustice to both authors.

I am very fussy and critical about the books , especially the historical novels, that I like, and I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good historical adventure.

Far better than most historical novels
