This is Harem Literature and that may or may not be your cup of tea, but K.D. Robertson tends to hit well above the genres usual standards. Characters are given time to develop individually and romantically. The protagonist are powerful, but are The Authors Protagonist tend to be highly competent and capable, while still having room for growth and avoiding alpha male stereotypes. The worlds are given rich history that's explored naturally, There are competing factions with their own goals and motivations that are unrelated to the protagonist and can change the status quo of the world. There is an actual story with momentum.

While the book does feature Robotic lovers as the cover art promises. At its heart it's a nor-style detective mystery that clearly takes inspiration from urban fantasy like the Dresden files, giving them a futuristic/cyberpunk twist. twist. There is some spice, but its infrequent and never feels forced.
