Publisher's Summary

Kate Bishop is in a world of trouble. In the wake of several inexplicable and brutal murders, Kate is thrust into a police inquiry that reveals shocking family secrets. Suddenly exposed to a shadowy network of global evil, her life takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of Jack Raines, an author with a mysterious past who says he has the answers to her questions. What's more, he suggests that Kate herself might be the solution.

But hot on their heels are a force of superpredators, vicious and bloodthirsty killers who will stop at nothing until Kate and Jack are eliminated. Like Jack, they've realized just how special Kate is, and now she's marked for death.

An explosive mix of action and suspense, Nest is a landmark new novel from worldwide best-selling author Terry Goodkind and a complete reinvention of the paranormal thriller. Travel with Goodkind on a dangerous journey to the back alleys of the darknet, to the darkest corners of our minds, and to the very origins of what it is to be human, a place few have ventured to and fewer still have survived.

Hanting Visualisation

I found this story had depth, twists & haunting visualisations of how the killers manipulated & stalked their victims. The characters intertwined well & had a relatablenes to them.

The whole "eyes are the window to the soul" saying takes on a whole new level & meaning in the basis of this story. I loved it.

First book I've read of T.G. & I don't think it will be the last after how enjoyable this was. I hope there's another follow on at some point to this one. I'd read it in a flash.

devo that this book is over :( SO GOOD!!!!

this is one of those books where even in the middle you're hoping that they are writing a sequel... where when you get to the end your sad because its over and you have to say good bye to the characters. I read my very first terry goodkind 20 years ago... and STILL an amazing author. naration was absolutely on point too!!loved it

Great Storyline

One could hardly assume the story behind the book cover. It was a well presented case between good and evil, mixed in with history lessons and some wild background info and handy tricks. Overall, it was an enjoyable book, but at points, there was a lot of repetition, which made me wonder if the book skipped backwards.

Repetitive, simplistic rubbish

The author seems to think the reader won't understand the point without it being repeated ad nauseum via lectures from the characters. The actual plot only takes up about 1/4 of the book length, the rest is made up of pointless descriptions such as how a character is putting food in their mouth, repetitive nonsense about the evolution of evil, and an instruction manual on how to kill the baddies. Save yourself the time and brainspace, there's a reason this one is in the free section
