About this listen

What is spiritual direction and my spiritual direction? What are my "blind spots" and how can I uncover them? What keeps me from all the spiritual riches Christ has for me? How can I better understand where I am in my spiritual progress?

Daniel Burke's Navigating the Interior Life will give you the tools you need to understand how and why we grow and die in the spiritual life and what we can do about it.

Dan Burke has written this profound guide to the spiritual life. While it is focused on spiritual direction it also provides some really useful tools for growing in the spiritual life. It helps to work out your root sin which is one of those hard to work out areas. By putting in the effort here you may gain new insight and be able to move from stagnation to growth. It certainly helped me. The other tool is guidance on developing a rule of life also called a plan of love. This helps with clarity accountability and stability in spiritual growth. There are many other tools such as gaining a sense of what stage you are up to in the spiritual life. I highly recommend this book.

A profoundly practical book for spiritual growth.
