Esoteric writer Laura Cone, a journalist for two decades, explores what makes us targets for narcissists.

Narcissists are drawn to complex and often deep women, including the High Priestess and the Empress cards of the tarot deck. How does the Devil card tempt empathetic and spiritually deep women to fall? Do you identify more with the High Priestess or the Empress card? What happens when your card is reversed because a narcissist turned your world upside down?

Learn how to get back your soul, find the power of Shekhinah, and repel the narcissist for good.

I realized I'm the High Priestess

I read this short read as part of the Devil Narcissist Collection but wanted to take time to listen to it. I love hearing the tarot card descriptions come to life as it relates to narcissism. Narrated by the author who has the website INFJGIRL.COM. This appears to be one of her earlier works. I highly recommend the recent self-help ones.

narcissists fall in love just like anyone else...

not so sure about that.
by 'narcissist', the author seems to mean 'psychopath.' and i don't know that psychopaths do fall in love. i think they go through phases that are analogous to those involved in love, but for them it's about the thrill of the hunt, not love. the author seems to think that the narcissist does fall in love, if only after a fashion.
some good stuff in here, especially the details about the break down of the relationship, in which the narc. starts criticising his girlfriend. i question some of the framework assumptions, though. great author on the whole.
the performance is good, but she does a couple of double takes in the middle.
