I could not stop listening to this one, just like The Naked Fisherman and The Lost Fisherman I was hooked. The transformation in Avery as her journey cross country with Jake slowly peeled away layers of insecurities was inspiring

I will admit I struggled with how self absorbed and whiney the main female character was. I completely understand that this was so she could grow, he could love her for her etc. but it was a little too much.
Overall a nice, light story with good performances/narration.

Do I recommend this book: 🤷‍♀️

This was a painful read/listen. Entitled FMC and a grumpy annoying MMC who hate each other. How they wanted to get it on I’ll never know. The ending was came together nicely, I’m just not sure if the first half was worth the pain.
