Exceptional as expected
As a huge fan of Stephen Fry in general it may seem biased to say I loved this book but I really did.
His storytelling is interesting, informative, emotive and, as hoped, often humors.
If you’re a fan of Greek mythology or learning more about it then I recommend this book.
Or if you’re just a fan of Stephen Fry and love listening to his voice then this book is for you.

There’s no better story-teller alive today than Stephen Fry.
Stephen Fry’s retelling of the Greek myths is delightful. Listening to his reading of “Mythos” in audio book form was a sublime pleasure. Fry pulls no punches as he relates the bawdier, bloodier & more ribald aspects of the myths. His infectious love of the characters and stories that form such a large part of the context of western culture shines through his narration and carried me along tp the very last word of the very last appendix. I savoured every morsel. He does not analyse the myths. Nor does attempt to draw out and interpret a deeper hidden meaning. He simply tells the tales in his inimitably riveting fashion. Bravo!
