About this listen

Six-year-old Tasha tells her inspiring story filled with joy, adventure, and dreams in this book that celebrates and treasures friendship and the importance of making “friends forever”. The message at the heart of this simple but adventurous story gives the book its lasting value and makes it perfect for young listeners.

It was the school summer holidays. Tasha’s father had some exciting news: they were going camping for the weekend. It was Tasha’s first camping trip. While on their camping trip, Tasha makes a wonderful discovery in the most unexpected circumstances.

“You don’t need any fancy clothes, shoes, or money. A good friend is all you need.”

About the author: Tasha has always adored making “new” friends since she was only two-and-a-half. First in preschool, and then kindergarten. The first time she made a friend, she was over the moon. From that day on, Tasha has made friends everywhere she goes. The story was also inspired by Tasha's visit to her grandma's house in the countryside. Tasha loves drawing, alone or with her friends, and her own thoughts and vivid drawing style have been brought to life delightfully in the book. Tasha’s future aspirations currently include being an artist or a doctor. The possibilities are endless, and her adventures have just begun!
