Tension to the End
Courage, determination and vulnerability make Angie an achingly appealing character. Patrick, leaves you frustrated in his determination to do the thing that will destroy Angie and himself, believing it the right thing to do. At the end of the story, you know it is just the beginning. Impossible not to want more from the Virgin River Series, and the Riordan brothers continue to fascinate, particularly Aiden and Colin.

My kind of Christmas romance...
If you want to listen to an excellent romance story with a Christmas backstory then you must get this audiobook. This book is part of the Virgin River series but it can very well be listened to on its own. It's a beautiful love story of two people that have gone through a lot and found love when they least expected it. I loved how the Christmas theme was incorporated into the story. And I mean the true meaning of Christmas, about helping people in need, about giving back and appreciating your family. This book has become one of my favorite books in the VR series and definitely my favorite Holiday romance.
Narration: another flawless narration by Therese Plummer. She's just the best! I highly recommend this sweet, sexy and wonderful love story with a Christmas theme.

Virgin River - Book 20 The Sheridan + Riordan
Would you listen to My Kind of Christmas again? Why?
This complete series gets a five star rating from me.I will listen and/or read (novella's are not available on Audible yet) this series again and again.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The Sheridan and the Riordan Families come together in this issue, which makes this one the very best. All of the Characters have their ups and downs, which makes me love and sometimes dislike them, which in turn keeps me turning the pages so to speak.
What about Therese Plummer’s performance did you like?
All the characters feel like real people to me. Ms. Plummer is one of the very best narrators. She brings the characters to life.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
My aaah, moment was at the end, when all the Riordans join the Sheridan family for a meal and the true coming together of Patrick and Angie.

Typical Virgin River Book
I was needing a good story. It is another book that you know the ending right from the start, but that's what Robyn's books are all about. Nice story, listened all day, put me a calm mood and the day just flowed. Now I just have to wait for a longer book, hope it doesn't take too long.

Great end to a long great series!
This was a sweet resolution for a young couple with a little baggage. It is nice to revisit so many of the other couples and see some great progression in the story that is Virgin River. What a great town and great couples. This book was not a deep story with lots of drama and tragedy but good. This was a great series, though long I enjoyed it, there were highs and lows, good times and bad lots of twists and turns but good all in all.

Plummer is the Virgin River series. Great match.
Robyn Carr has a formula in these books. One big, strong, handsome man is lonely but may not realize it, and ready for love but certainly doesn't know it. One sweet, good-hearted, petite and beautiful woman who wants a man that is ready for real commitment. They both find themselves in Virgin River - often with friends in common The rest is history. They fall in love, and start planning their future children. The books are sweet, cozy, warm. Nothing here will surprise you, but they will entertain you. You get what you are hoping for here. Good people who fall in love.
My biggest complaint about this series is that because each volume involves a new romance, the characters I really care about are virtually nonexistent in the future volumes. I would love if there was more follow up on the characters who are already in Virgin River.

Saying goodbye to old friends
I've enjoy all the Virgin River stories, however this one being the last in the series was rather bitter sweet, knowing this was a final good bye to old friends. Appropriately we finally have a joining of the Sheridan and Rhiordan families as Jack's young niece meets the youngest Rhiordan brother Patrick. Angie and Patrick's story was very sweet and we get to say our goodbyes to all the Rhiordans and Sheridans as they get-together in Virgin River for Christmas. A lovely end to a lovely series.
