About this listen
Karen Rhodes was born with a hole in her heart, but that was just the start of her problems. As a child, she contracted meningococcal meningitis. But her world was really turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Cushing's disease and underwent brain surgery. This is her story, in her words.

I can relate to this
it was great to hear about someone else going through what I'm going through at the moment too. I had never heard of cushing until I was diagnosed with it
