I loved this series, but it was disappointing that they swapped the narrator halfway through!

This was a little different from the other tales I have listened to. I found it quite interesting and recommended this author to anyone who likes to listen to tales from this era.

Seriously, this narrator keeps inserting 'r's where they don't belong for a general American accent, and it sounds so ridiculous 🤣 'Miker' instead of 'Micah', 'dilemmer' instead of 'dilemma', 'idear' instead of 'idea'... Unless there's an 'r' in the word to begin with, it doesn't acquire one with an American accent!! The beginning of the series was good, but it's becoming a bit silly now - especially because the actual policeman is completely useless, and the surgeon is the brains of the operation! Thankfully it's free, haha.

American accent is absolutely atrocious!
