About this listen

Discover the brilliant cozy mystery from bestselling author T.A. Williams

An old friend in need…

Despite being retired from the police, Dan Armstrong is always on hand to help with solving a crime. So, when he’s contacted by an old colleague in need of help, Dan readily agrees. The only problem Dan can see is the location – an isolated mountain-top campsite of UFO enthusiasts.

An unexplained death...

But these are no ordinary star watchers, and when Dan arrives one member of the group is already dead. Some of the group suspect alien abduction, but Dan is sure the killer is much closer to home.

An out of this world case?

Dan doesn’t believe in aliens, but faced with a black hole of secrecy from the group of suspects, he and Oscar have their work cut out to catch the murderer…before they strike again.

It's another case for Dan and Oscar to solve!

Really enjoying this series. Murder, humour, romance and a dog. Listening to the descriptions of Italy, you feel like you’re there. The food also sounds wonderful. About to get the 6th book and each one was different. A great Cosy Mystery to get comfortable with.

A mix of everything.

Great narrative , Loved Simon’s way of reading with plenty of accurate descriptions of the countryside. Will certainly listen to another Audible recording of T A Williams.

My first book by TA Williams, will certainly listen to another one .

Very entertaining with a surprise ending. I feel like I have just travelled to the Italian Alps.

Oscar's characterisation. How well the author knows labradors.

Well, this was a unique place to set a crime. Lots of shifty characters to choose from and Oscar working / wagging his magic too.
Will read more of these.

Aliens and Oscar!

I would of preferred more of a clue or a link earlier to the killer mid story, just to link the ending to more of the body of the story. its actually very calming listen, even though the story is about murder. think Midsommer murders in Italy.

beautiful listen.

Despite the story being about a murder at a UFO camp, the syndical opinion of quite a few “followers” makes the setting amusing, rather than downright corny. I enjoyed this audio far more than the previous one (Murder at Siena). The meals eaten are fantastic and his depiction of the dog’s communication is very endearing. (and I am not a very “doggy” person). Give it a go, it will make you smile.

A very interesting story
